UFC on FOX 15 Medical Suspensions: Machida One of Several Indefinite Suspensions

Several fighters from Saturday’s UFC on FOX 15 received indefinite medical suspensions. Leading the list was main event loser Lyoto Machida, who was dominated and then submitted by Luke Rockhold.

Machida is out indefinitely pending clearance from a CT head scan, as are main card fighters Cub Swanson and Felice Herrig.

The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board released the UFC on FOX 15 medical suspensions to MMAWeekly.com. UFC on FOX 15: Machida vs. Rockhold took place on Saturday, April 18, at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Lyoto Machida is suspended indefinitely pending a CT head scan.

Chris Camozzi is suspended indefinitely pending orthopedic clearance of his right elbow.

Max Holloway is suspended indefinitely pending an x-ray of his left wrist.

Cub Swanson is suspended indefinite pending a CT head scan, an x-ray of his jaw, and an x-ray of his right thumb.

Felice Herrig is suspended indefinitely pending a CT head scan and a CT scan of her facial bones, and is suspended for 45 days with no contact for rest/recovery period.

Beneil Dariush is suspended for 30 days for chin laceration healing.

Patrick Cummins is suspended for 30 days with no contact due to a knockout.

Corey Anderson is suspended indefinitely pending a CT head scan and ENT clearance of his mandible, he is suspended for 45 days for chin laceration healing, and he is suspended for 30 days with no contact due to a TKO.

Gian Villante is suspended indefinitely pending orthopedic clearance of his right ankle/foot.

Takeya Mizugaki is suspended indefinitely pending orthopedic clearance of his left knee.

Aljamain Sterling is suspended indefinitely pending orthopedic clearance of his right hand and pending a right pelvic x-ray.

George Sullivan is suspended for 30 days with no contact for rest/recovery period.

Jimy Hettes is suspended for 60 days for ear sutures/laceration healing.

Chris Dempsey is suspended for 60 days for facial (right and left lateral brows) laceration healing.
