UFC Announces October Return to Dublin

The UFC on Wednesday made good on its promise to announce a return to Ireland. It marks the promotion's first event in Dublin since 2014's UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Brandao, which provided a quick sellout.

The October 24 event will be another UFC Fight Night, which will take place at 14,500-seat 3Arena, which is actually just a new name on the same arena that the promotion has used in the past, the O2.

“Ireland has been such an important market to the UFC and we couldn’t let a year go by without delivering another spectacular event for the fans in the capital,” said Joe Carr, Vice President of International for UFC. “We’re looking forward to showcasing both local and international talent at the event and hopefully getting the decibel counter higher this year round.”

Tickets for UFC FIGHT NIGHT DUBLIN will go on sale to UFC FIGHT CLUB members at 10:00 a.m. IST on Wednesday, Sept. 2, and to the general public on Friday, Sept. 4 at 12:00 p.m. IST.

There has been no word yet as to who will fill the fight card.
