TUF Nations Finale Results: Elias Theodorou TKOs His Way to Middleweight Tournament Win

Elias Theodorou won the Ultimate Fighter: Nations Middleweight Tournament, stopping Sheldon Westcott at the season finale on Wednesday night in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

Theodorou put on a striking display, winning the contest by technical knockout at 4:41 of the second round to earn the coveted six-figure contract with the UFC.

“This is honestly the greatest moment of my life,” Theodorou said in his in-Octagon interview.

Westcott took center Octagon first, pressuring Theodorou into a clinch battle. Westcott secured the back, but his opponent defended well, working to his feet and eventually shaking the attacking fighter off and onto the ground. The fight returned to the feet, and Theodorou landed two knees and remained the active fighter with the strikes through the end of the opening round.

Theodorou continued pouring on offense in the second round, meeting his opposition with a series of striking combinations. At one point, Westcott began to secure a takedown, but Theodorou quickly worked his way back to the feet. Later, Theodorou overwhelmed his foe and battered him against the cage before bringing the fight to the ground. Once there, there was little Westcott could do, and Theodorou rained punches and elbows from top position for the TKO.

With the win, The0dorou earns his ninth career victory, maintaining his undefeated record.
