Surfing - No action at Reef Hawaiian Pro

Poor conditions have delayed the conclusion of the Reef Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa.

Organisers were forced to call a lay day due to flat conditions on the North of the island with waves in the range of one to two feet.

Small waves are again forecast for Tuesday but a swell is expected to develop as the week progresses, with a range of three to five footers building to a peak on Saturday.

When competition resumes, the likes of Kelly Slater, John John Florence, Bede Durbridge, Gabriel Medina and Jeremy Flores are all still in the competition.

The Reef Hawaiian Pro offers £623,000 in prize money this year, including a bonus of over £60,000, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a custom Nixon watch for the overall series champion.
