Superbikes - New WSBK timings to benefit BSB TV schedules

A radical shake-up of the World Superbike weekend timings will benefit MCE British Superbike television scheduling when the two championships clash.

Under new times issued yesterday, both WSBK legs and sandwiched World Supersport race will be finished by 12.45pm, 15 minutes before the opening BSB round is usually slated to start on a typical weekend which facilitates an uninterruped broacast from Britain.

The WSBK times have been shaken up so they no longer clash with other sporting events, such as Formula One, which commence at 2pm CET - a move by Dorna to encourage more terrestrial channels to broadcast the meetings in full.
