Ski Jumping - Two wins from two for Olympic favourite Takanashi

Reigning women's ski jumping World Cup champion and Olympic favourite Sara Takanashi made it two wins out of two for the new season with a dominant victory in Hinterzarten.

Takanashi opened the Olympic season with victory in Lillehammer on December 7 and repeated the trick as the World Cup circuit moved across Europe to Germany after a two-week break.

She produced a winning total of 266.8 points after jumps of 101m and 105m with Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz second outright this time after scoring 252.4.

Iraschko-Stolz shared second place with Gianina Ernst at the season opener in Lillehammer but the German was well down on home soil with Irina Avvakumova third with 247.
