Rugby League - Sculthorpe handed MBE

Former St Helens and Great Britain star Paul Sculthorpe has been recognised for his rugby league career and charity work with an MBE in the New Year Honours list.

Sculthorpe began his career with Warrington but it was at Saints where he made his name winning four Super League titles, five Challenge Cups and two World Club Challenge titles as well as being named Man of Steel in 2001 and 2002.

He represented Great Britain on 26 occasions and also went on to captain his country.
