Ligue 1 - Toulouse: Capoue 'going nowhere' this window

QPR target Etienne Capoue will not be sold this transfer window, according to Toulouse coach Alain Casanova.

France midfielder Capoue has been linked with a move to QPR or even Paris Saint-Germain before the January window shuts on Thursday but, after the sale of Moussa Sissoko to Newcastle United, Toulouse are keen to keep him until at least the summer.

“I am telling you that he will not leave,” AFP quoted Casanova as saying about the 24-year-old, who has been with Toulouse since he was 17.

“We’ve already had one departure.”

Capoue, who has four caps for France, reportedly has a verbal agreement with the club’s board that he can leave if someone meets a 15 million euros valuation.

Toulouse lie 10th in Ligue 1.
