Liga - Levante come from behind to down Elche

David Barral came off the bench to score twice and help Levante recover from a goal down and beat Elche 2-1 at the Ciudad de Valencia.

Cristian Sapunaru opened the scoring for Elche but Barral, who was introduced for the injured Baba Diawara on 38 minutes, levelled for the hosts just before the half-time break.

And the Spanish striker settled matters in the 81st minute, powering in a bullet header from Pedro's cross.

Victory for Levante ended a four-match losing streak and sees them rise to 10th place in La Liga.

Elche, who started the day level on 17 points with Levante, are in 12th.
