Juventus buy Giaccherini outright

Juventus have announced the full acquisition of Italy wide man Emanuele Giaccherini.

The Serie A champions have bought out the share in the player held by Cesena following his move to the Bianconeri last summer under a co-ownership agreement.

"Juventus announce they have exercised the clause to buy the sporting rights of Emanuele Giaccherini at a fixed price set at 4.25 million euros (£3.4 million)," a club statement read.

Giaccherini, 28, is currently in Poland and Ukraine as part of Italy's Euro 2012 squad, where he has started two of the Azzurri's three matches so far in the tournament.

He is contracted to Juventus until 2015.
