Inter's Julio Cesar in QPR talks

Julio Cesar has arrived in West London for talks with QPR over a move from Internazionale.

The Brazil goalkeeper, 32, has fallen out of favour at the Giuseppe Meazza and has already been replaced by Samir Handanovic, who was signed from Udinese earlier this summer.

With new QPR signing Robert Green having a poor debut in the 5-0 opening-day defeat to Swansea, Hoops boss Mark Hughes has acted quickly in moving for the man who was rated as the best keeper in the world just two years ago.

Cesar, who lost his place to back-up keeper Luca Castellazzi last season, was pictured by reporters arriving at QPR for talks and is expected to sign on a free transfer.

The 64-times capped Brazil shot-stopper was one of several Inter players not given a shirt number this summer, with Dejan Stankovic set to leave the club and Diego Forlan quickly sold to Internacional in Brazil.
