Zaheer Khan bowled Jeetan Patel for 22 in the second Test in Bangalore

India were set a target of 261 to win the second Test after bowling New Zealand out for 248 on the fourth morning in Bangalore.

Starting the penultimate day on 232 for nine in their second innings, the Black Caps added 16 for their final wicket before Jeetan Patel was caught behind off the bowling of Zaheer Khan for 22, leaving Trent Boult unbeaten on four.

India lead the two-match series 1-0 after winning the opening Test by an innings and 115 runs.
