Alpine Skiing - Grange to swerve Beaver Creek

Jean-Baptiste Grange will not travel to Beaver Creek for the World Cup event after damaging a ligament in his knee in the spring.

The world slalom champion will return to action in Val d'Isère on December 7 after the training accident in March which required surgery.

The Frenchman has already missed the opening giant slalom of the season is on the Austrian glacier in Soelden and the first slalom at Levi in Finland last week.
