Fanny Smith was the main beneficiary as the final race of the Ski Cross World Cup in Sierra Nevada was cancelled – confirming her as the winner of the Crystal Globe.

Leading Ophelie David by 89 points before the final event, she was already well-placed but the poor visibility at the event in Spain meant that she wrapped up the World Cup title without even competing.

That was the only title yet to be decided, with Smith completing a Swiss cleansweep after Alex Fiva had already claimed the men's event a week ago in Sweden.

David finished second in the women's event, with another Frenchwoman, Marielle Berger third, while Armin Niederer and Victor Oehling-Norberg came second and third respectively in the men's.

Switzerland also claimed the Nation’s Cup title from France, with Canada rounding off the podium.
