The 'helmet-cam' was handed to authorities in Grenoble on Friday and French television channel RMC Sport report the footage shows Schumacher was skiing at “very low speed” at the time of the accident.
The retired seven-times Formula One world champion hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste on December 27, and has been in an induced coma since then having undergone two operations in Grenoble.
French authorities investigating the crash are expected to discuss their findings so far at a press conference in Albertville on Wednesday morning.
Earlier on Tuesday, Corinna Schumacher, wife of Michael, called on the media to leave doctors to treat her husband in peace.
"Please support us in our common fight with Michael," she said in a statement.
"It is important to me that you leave the doctors and the hospital alone so that they can work in peace.
"Please have faith in their statements and leave the hospital. Please can you also leave our family in peace."
