Football - Slew off to Ross County

Blackburn forward Jordan Slew has joined Scottish Premiership club Ross County on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old, who is a product of the highly-rated Sheffield United academy, has yet to start a game for Rovers since they signed him in August 2011.

Loan spells at Stevenage, Oldham and Rotherham followed, but he has not scored a goal since netting when with Latics in August 2012.

County boss Derek Adams put Slew into his starting XI for the trip to Inverness on New Year's Day.
