Football - Rams forward makes MLS move

Derby forward Conor Doyle has joined Major League Soccer side DC United on a permanent deal.

The former USA youth international made 14 appearances, scoring two goals, during a recent loan spell back in his homeland with the MLS club.

Doyle has now committed his future to the Washington-based side, who finished bottom of the Eastern Conference in the 2013 season.

The 22-year-old made 24 appearances for Derby after joining the Rams in the summer of 2010.
