Football - Mellon set to lead Tykes

Barnsley caretaker-boss Micky Mellon could opt to make changes for his first game in charge at Brighton.

The Reds, who sacked David Flitcroft after the weekend defeat to Birmingham, are without a win in five league matches and currently sit bottom of the table.

Striker Chris O'Grady remains sidelined with the calf injury that has ruled him out of the last two games and goalkeeper Luke Steele is in rehabilitation following a back problem.

Recent loan signing Marcus Tudgay is hoping to resume alongside Marcus Pedersen up front, while on-loan defender Peter Ramage (thigh) could feature after returning to the bench on Saturday.
