Football - Hughes plans tactical rethink

Inverness manager John Hughes has hinted at a change of system following his side's 2-1 home Scottish Premiership defeat to Ross County.

Caley Thistle are now without a win in their last four games as Hughes continues to search for his first home win in the dugout.

Goals from Scott Boyd and Alex Cooper put County clear in the first period and Aaron Doran's late consolation, coming 10 minutes after Ross Draper's dismissal for an elbow on Stuart Kettlewell, came too late for the hosts.

Hughes feels that he may have to rejig his team to prevent them from suffering further defeats in the coming weeks.

"We might need to change the shape a wee bit and it's definitely something we'll sit down and look at," he said.

"We need to take a look at personnel as well, we're a bit walking wounded in the dressing room.

"As a coach or manager you're looking at the game and seeing where you can improve and there's definitely room for improvement."
