Football - Allardyce to turn to youth

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce plans to blood a number of the club's younger players in their FA Cup third-round meeting with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

With captain Kevin Nolan starting a four-match ban and fellow midfielder Mark Noble (calf) sidelined, the Hammers continue to struggle for numbers and Allardyce intends to include up to seven of his youth team squad.

James Tomkins and James Collins (both groin), Winston Reid (ankle), Andy Carroll (heel) and Ricardo Vaz Te (shoulder) are all missing whilst Mladen Petric has been released after his short-term deal expired.
