Degenkolb claims GP d'Isbergues

John Degenkolb of Germany won a bunch sprint to claim the 66th edition of the GP d’Isbergues.

The Argos-Shimano rider finished ahead of Dutchman Kenny van Hummel of Vacansoleil-DCM and France’s Stephane Poulhies, of Saur-Sojasun.

The 203.9km race was the penultimate round of the Coupe de France.

The overall classification remains dominated by home riders with Samuel Dumoulin of Cofidis leading an all-French top five by 59 points.
