Dakar - Trucks: De Rooy remains imperious

Dutchman Gerard de Rooy made it five wins from seven with victory on stage seven of the Dakar Rally in the Andes mountain range.

The Iveco ace holds a lead of more than 22 minutes over Kamaz driver Eduard Nikolaev in second, and 41 minutes over the Tatra driven by Martin Kolomny.

Another Tatra, driven by Czech Ales Loprais, came in second on the day ahead of Russian Andrey Karginov, also of Kamaz.

De Rooy's team-mate Hans Stacey did not start the stage from Calama to Salta after spectacularly rolling his truck on stage six.
