Cricket - Talha back for Pakistan

Four years after he played his one and only Test, Mohammad Talha has been recalled by Pakistan for their upcoming series with Sri Lanka.

The 25-year-old quick took one for 88 against the same opponents in March 2009 and has not been seen on the international stage since.

Also recalled are Umar Gul and batsman Mohammad Hafeez, who has scored three centuries from four innings in the current one-day series between the two.

Hafeez has made an irresistible case for adding to his 34 caps with 407 runs at an average of 203.

The first Test starts on December 31 with two more fixtures to follow in January.
