The Bavarian club wrapped up the league title in double-quick time, securing their second consecutive trophy with a record seven games to spare.
And coach Guardiola, who is enjoying a tremendous first season in charge of Bayern, heaped praise on his players before thanking the club for providing him with an opportunity to work with the German champions.
"I am satisfied that we did it. A game earlier or later does not matter. Congratulations to everyone at the club," said the former Barcelona boss.
“I’m pleased we’ve done it. Another trophy for this club is important. Congratulations to everyone on this massive season. When you have a little time to spare you ought to enjoy it.
“Many, many thanks to the club for the opportunity to be here and coach these outstanding players. We played really, really well for 30 minutes. We were dynamic but kept it simple and used the whole of the pitch. We controlled the game but forgot to attack at times.”
Having won the league, Bayern will now go in search of an astonishing second treble in two years as they face Kaiserslauten in the semi-finals of the German Cup and Manchester United in the last eight of the Champions League.
