The Belarusian missed the last World Cup event in Annecy but returned in Germany to claim her first win of the season in a time of 23:06.7minutes.
Her late push to the line saw her comfortably take top spot away from Finland’s Kaisa Makarainen while Ukraine’s Olena Pidrushna took third.
Defending World Cup champion Tora Berger of Norway had to settle for fourth in the end but showed signs that her best form is returning and would have finished higher still if not for some wayward shooting on the second round.
