Basketball - Bucks aiming to expand ownership group

Milwaukee Bucks owner Herb Kohl is seeking to add to the team's ownership group partners who are committed to keeping the team in Milwaukee and building a new arena.

There has been speculation for several years whether Kohl, a former US senator, might sell the team.

"When I bought the Milwaukee Bucks back in 1985, it was for one reason-to keep the team here," Kohl said. "To this day, that remains a top priority. We are proud to be an NBA city. We are very grateful to our fans and business partners who support us."
