The Bobcats went on a 15-1 run early in the fourth quarter to open a 13-point lead, but then had to come from behind in the final minute after Memphis stormed back with a 16-2 run.
Charlotte withstood two missed three-pointers from Memphis guard Mike Conley in the final five seconds as the Grizzlies had a four-game winning streak halted.
Hawks 107, Knicks 98
The Atlanta Hawks pulled off a big comeback against the New York Knicks to end an eight-game skid.
Atlanta forward Mike Scott came off the bench to score 30 points and guard Lou Williams hit two big three-pointers in the fourth quarter to help the Hawks come back from a 17-point deficit.
Carmelo Anthony scored 35 points for the Knicks, but picked up a technical foul midway through the third quarter with his team up by 15.
Wizards 94, Pelicans 93
Brazilian Nene scored 30 points, including the game-winning dunk with 0.3 seconds remaining, as the Washington Wizards edged the New Orleans Pelicans.
Guard John Wall had 10 points and 12 assists with the final one setting up Nene's score after New Orleans forward Anthony Davis made two free throws to give the Pelicans a 93-92 lead with seven seconds left.
Mavericks 113, Pistons 102
Power forward Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 points and forward Vince Carter added 18 off the bench to lead the Dallas Mavericks to victory over the Detroit Pistons.
Dallas also received double-doubles from three other players.

Forward Paul George scored 32 points and forward David West had 30 as the Indiana Pacers beat the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Pacers never trailed but also did not have it easy against the league's worst team, who crept within five points early in the final quarter.

All-Star big man Kevin Love notched his first career triple-double and the Minnesota Timberwolves opened a five-game road trip with a blowout victory over the Utah Jazz.
Love, who participated in his third All-Star Game last Sunday, finished with 37 points, which included six three pointers, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in just 33 minutes on the court.
