    • - Remember, you can watch highlights of this match and all the weekend's Premier League games live on site from Monday (00:01).
    • 90+3' FULL TIME. A tremendous win from Tottenham, goals from Dempsey, Defoe and Bale turning the game on its head in seven minutes. Spurs back on track for fourth, while United can win the title tomorrow night.
    • 90+1' Here comes Joleon Lescott to save the game, replacing Clichy at the back for City.
    • 90+1' We will have three added minutes.
    • 90' Kolarov takes it though and the defender curls one over the bar from 25 yards. Not the worst free-kick you will ever see.
    • 89' Toure lining it up....
    • 88' A late free-kick for City, but this game has escaped them. Spurs on course for a fine, fine win.
    • 87' Toure with a hopeful shot from range that flies over. This has been a collapse of staggering proportions from City, it really has. Sums up their lamentable league campaign.
    • 86' Stat from Infostrada: "Manchester City concede three goals in a PL half for the first time in just over two years since 3-0 defeat at Liverpool on April 11th 2011."
    • 84' City make a change as Scott Sinclair comes on for Dzeko. Aguero's on the bench - what on earth is Mancini playing at?
    • 83' A truly sensational response from Tottenham here. And as a side note, Manchester United will now win the title if they defeat Aston Villa at home tomorrow night.
    • 82' GOAL! Tottenham 3-1 Man City! Bale seals the win for Spurs! What a finish. Huddlestone sets Bale away with a fine through pass and as Hart advances, Bale dinks the ball over the City keeper. What a turnaround.
    • 81' Stat from Infostrada: "Jermain Defoe scores his 11th PL goal of the season, equalling his tally for last season. This is his first PL home goal since November."
    • 80' What a turnaround. Wow. This could be a crucial result in the battle for third and fourth. Chelsea and Arsenal won't be happy.
    • 79' GOAL! Tottenham 2-1 Man City! Defoe with an absolute belter! The striker picks the ball up to the left of the box, cuts inside Kompany and lashes a shot right into the far corner.
    • 78' Stat from Infostrada: "Clint Dempsey scores his sixth PL goal of the season and third against Manchester opposition."
    • 77' City pop a ball into the box and Kolarov heads up to Toure, but Lloris leaps high to claim it in the air.
    • 76' Credit also to Walker who found Bale with a nice ball to the right channel. It hasn't been a great second half but that's impressive from Spurs.
    • 75' GOAL! Tottenham 1-1 Man City! Dempey converts at the back post from a gorgeous cross off the outside of Bale's left boot. City seek an offside flag but it was legit. A fine goal.
    • 75' Hart comes off his line to block the ball at the feet of Dempsey, who nips in behind Kompany. The Spurs fans want a pen when Dempsey goes down but there was clear contact with the ball.
    • 74' Lloris, who has been exemplary again, punches away well from a free-kick.
    • 73' Bit of a dodgy clearance from Hart under pressure but he just about gets away with it as the ball squirts out for a throw. Now Dempsey picks the ball up 25 yards from goal and thumps a straight drive at the City keeper.
    • 72' Confirmation that Kolarov has been booked for a show of dissent.
    • 71' Adebayor - who has been terrible today - is replaced by Defoe in attack.
    • 70' Defoe will be coming on for Spurs.
    • 69' Stat from Opta: "Since defeating Arsenal at White Hart Lane at the start of March, Tottenham have won just four points from four Premier League games (W1 D1 L2)."
    • 68' Nothing comes of the corner at a rather flat White Hart Lane. As things stand, Spurs will be five points behind Arsenal, albeit with a game in hand.
    • 67' Holtby spreads the ball to the left and a dangerous cross from Assou-Ekotto is turned behind by Kompany for a corner as Dempsey goes to ground under minimal contact from Nastasic.
    • 66' Huddlestone loses possession in the centre of the park and lets out his frustration by swiping away Toure's legs to earn a silly booking.
    • 66' Dembele, who is playing in more of an advanced position now, picks out Bale to the left of the box but the Spurs star can't find a team-mate when cutting the ball back.
    • 65' Dembele helps Kolarov to ground with a sneaky little nudge and the Serbian appears to sustain an injury. He continues for now though.
    • 64' City mount a lovely passing move as Nasri and Tevez link up, but the latter eventually curls a shot high and wide from 20 yards after shifting the ball onto his right foot.
    • 63' Meanwhile, Bale gets angry when he is incorrectly ruled offside when attempting to race onto another pass over the top.
    • 63' There's a moment of hesitation in the City defence as a high ball comes over the top but Nastasic keeps his head and comes across to hold off Bale and play the ball down the line.
    • 62' CHANCE FOR CITY! Walker produces an unconvincing clearance from a Zabaleta cross and Toure produces a smart first-time effort from the loose ball to sting the palms of Lloris.
    • 61' Holtby does indeed come on for Sigurdsson, and Tom Huddlestone also replaces Parker in the centre of midfield.
    • 60' Tottenham are preparing Lewis Holtby, presumably for Sigurdsson.
    • 59' Bale lines up the free-kick and takes it Ronaldo-style, hitting the valve of the ball. It imparts bizarre spin on the ball which swerves high into the air and away.
    • 58' Parker gets his foot in front of Clichy to win a free-kick right on the edge of the box.
    • 57' Stat from Infostrada: "In Tottenham’s last home PL match against Manchester opposition, they were 1-0 down at half-time against Man Utd and drew 1-1 thanks to Clint Dempsey’s stoppage time goal."
    • 55' Still a lack of quality in the final third continues to dog this second half. Plenty of endeavour though and it's a congested game in the middle.
    • 54' Tevez makes a good run in behind the Spurs defence but Nasri fails to find him with his through-ball. He had plenty of time and space to pick out the pass as well.
    • 53' City try to sneak in behind the Spurs defence but Walker spots the danger and carries the ball away from the back.
    • 52' Not much in the way of chances at the start of the second half as both teams try and settle into a rhythm.
    • 50' Stat from Infostrada: "Man City are unbeaten in 12 PL matches when winning at half-time this season, winning 11 and drawing once. Going further back, they are unbeaten in 34 PL matches (32 wins, two draws) when ahead at the break since 2-1 defeat at Everton in May 2011."
    • 49' That was much worse than Nasri's challenge in the first half and Assou-Ekotto was lucky that Zabaleta took it well and gave him a hug.
    • 48' Assou-Ekotto launches in two-footed on Zabaleta! Ridiculous challenge! He gets enough of the ball to avoid a red - though he should have been off. That was so stupid.
    • 47' Sigurdsson tries a cross from the left but City head clear from the centre of the box.
    • 47' Milner was apparently suffering from a tight muscle and has been replaced at half-time by Aleksandar Kolarov.
    • 46' KICK OFF!
    • - What did you make of the first half? Hit me up on Twitter now and let me know. Follow Tom Adams (@tomEurosport) on Twitter
    • 45+2' HALF TIME. Nasri gives City a 1-0 lead with Tevez the best player on the pitch. Spurs struggled in the mid-part of the half but finished strongly, to give them some hope.
    • 45+2' CHANCE FOR SPURS! Dempsey with a cross from the right and the ball bounces nicely for Sigurdsson from eight yards out, but he can't wrap his foot around the ball and after his scuffed effort, Adebayor is offside.
    • 45' We will have two added minutes.
    • 44' CHANCE FOR SPURS! Now the home side win a corner up the other end and Dempsey escapes City's zonal marking to rise high and power a header off target from about 10 yards. He should have hit the target really.
    • 44' CITY GO CLOSE! Another corner, and after the ball is nodded down at the back post, Tevez heads it himself from close range, only to be denied by a fine reaction stop from Lloris as he flings out his right arm.
    • 43' In comes the corner and Dawson is rather fortunate to see a messy attempt at a clearance skew wide, rather than into his own net.
    • 42' Tevez wins a corner when his attempted shot is deflected wide by Parker.
    • 40' CHANCE FOR CITY! Tevez, again, picks out the right pass when playing in Dzeko and the striker takes the ball in his stride before firing in a low effort that Hugo Lloris keeps out with a fantastic save.
    • 39' Nothing comes of the corner as City earn a bit of respite. Spurs have increased the pressure on the visitors in the past few minutes.
    • 38' Bale it is who takes it, but his firm effort cannons off the head of Tevez in a two-man wall. Spurs try to release Dempsey in the box after regaining possession but after chesting the ball down, Clichy gets a foot in for a corner.
    • 37' Parker buys another foul, this time when being bundled to ground by Zabaleta. Bale likes the look of it...
    • 35' Replays show the ball did catch the arm of Barry after connecting with his boot but the midfielder barely had his eyes open. There's absolutely no way you could construe that as deliberate.
    • 34' Spurs go short and when the ball does eventually come into the box, Barry nicks the ball away from an opponent before clearing. Spurs seem to make an optimistic appeal for a handball of some kind.
    • 33' Spurs win a free-kick in an advanced position...
    • 32' Bale tries to find space for a shot or a cross just outside the box but City's defence is alert and closes down the amount of space available to him.
    • 31' Stat from Infostrada: "Manchester City have lost four points from winning positions in PL this season – the fewest in division along with Arsenal and Manchester United"
    • 30' Tevez has been the start of the show for City so far. His movement has caused Spurs no end of trouble and he is creating their best chances too.
    • 29' Benoit Assou-Ekotto dumps Milner on his bum with a firm challenge but he got the ball cleanly. Nothing wrong with that.
    • 28' CHANCE FOR CITY! Zabaleta plays a fierce pass into Tevez and the striker produces a gorgeous first-time touch to play in Nasri, who loses Vertonghen before stabbing the ball just wide.
    • 27' The ball comes in from the right but Tottenham head clear. Toure was lurking at the back post but they didn't find him.
    • 26' Nasri and Tevez combine to find Dzeko, who sees a firm effort deflected over the bar via a Tottenham defender for a corner.
    • 25' Tevez is having a great game. Now he stops Gylfi Sigurdsson from mounting an attack when snapping into a tackle on the Iceland star.
    • 24' The TV cameras pick out Aguero having a chat with Scott Sinclair on the bench. Presumably asking his English colleague for tips on the art of forward play.
    • 23' Tevez almost latches on to a neat pass through from Nasri but a defender comes along to take possession for Tottenham.
    • 22' SAVE BY HART! Dempsey picks out Walker with a superb chipped pass to the right of the box. Walker takes a heavy touch, allowing Hart to hare off his line and make a superb block as the shot comes in from a tight angle.
    • 21' Walker does well to find a yard of space on the right and delivers a teasing cross to the back post, where Zabaleta is on hand to head away.
    • 20' Milner takes the free-kick and slams the ball against the wall. City pick up the loose ball but can't find a way through the massed ranks of white shirts.
    • 19' A second yellow of the game, this time for Michael Dawson as he collides into Dzeko from behind. A very messy challenge and no doubt about the booking.
    • 19' Walker gets in a cross from the right but the City defence intercepts and the visitors charge up the other end before their break fizzles out.
    • 18' Bit of an embarrassment for Dembele as he gets his feet in a tangle and knocks the ball out for a City throw by the touchline.
    • 16' Tottenham have had 55 per cent possession so far and the greater number of chances, but City have produced the one moment of standout quality.
    • 15' Moussa Dembele steps out of defence well to dispossesses Dzeko and prevent the striker from getting a shot away from range.
    • 14' Milner tries to release Pablo Zabaleta with a clever ball down the line but his pass is intercepted. City have been excellent on the right side so far.
    • 13' Vertonghen needs to go off for treatment as his lip is bleeding. Replays showed he had an accidental collision with the shoulder of Tevez.
    • 12' Stat from Infostrada: "Samir Nasri scores his second PL goal of the season and first since August. It is his first away League goal since April 22nd 2012 (2-0 win at Wolves)."
    • 11' Yaya Toure is into the book. He showed dissent after Milner tugged the shirt of Parker in midfield.
    • 10' That wasn't smart at all from Nasri on Walker and Spurs may have felt a yellow card, or even a red, was the suitable response.
    • 9' Walker requires treatment but it seems as though he will be okay to continue. Roberto Mancini takes the opportunity to dish out some instructions.
    • 8' Now Nasri gets involved in a moment of controversy as he goes in a bit high on Kyle Walker and catches the leg of the defender as he follows through. No punishment though.
    • 7' Nasri's been a bit of a scapegoat this season - with Mancini criticising his attitude - but that's a big goal and he also netted in the FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea recently.
    • 6' All credit to Tevez for his persistence there. Other players would have lost the ball under pressure. What a start for City, who soaked up some early pressure.
    • 5' GOAL! Tottenham 0-1 Man City! Samir Nasri puts the visitors in front! Wonderful work from Tevez as he holds onto the ball under pressure and slips a fine pass in for James Milner. He enters the box and pulls the ball back for Nasri, who converts neatly into the bottom corner with a cushioned volley.
    • 5' Spurs have started really well here. Now Clint Dempsey gets past Gael Clichy on the right and crosses, with Hart grabbing the ball at the second attempt.
    • 4' Bale enjoys his first chance of the afternoon when letting fly from 30 yards and seeing a swerving effort almost trouble Joe Hart, who just about grabs onto the ball.
    • 3' An opening for Spurs as Vincent Kompany prevents Gareth Bale latching onto a fine ball into the box. Jan Vertonghen then clatters into a good tackle on Carlos Tevez.
    • 2' A tentative start at the Lane with both sides feeling each other out.
    • 1' KICK OFF!
    • 13:30 Here come the teams at a sunny White Hart Lane. It's a lovely day for football. Handshakes all round and we are almost good to go.
    • 13:25 This game feels bigger for Tottenham than it does Man City, despite claims from Brian Kidd that the title is still a viable target. If Spurs win this then surely they will have enough about them to finish above Arsenal, or indeed Chelsea, in the top four. If not, then a run of one win in five games won't be looking too smart at all.
    • 13:20 Anyone questioning why Dzeko starts ahead of Aguero should remember two things: Aguero has an injury niggle and Dzeko scored just the four goals at White Hart Lane last season. They lack something without David Silva, though, who misses out with injury.
    • 13:15 Adebayor, never shy of a word or two, had this to say this week about his former side: "If we put them under pressure we have a chance to win for sure because I was there and whenever things are not going their way there will definitely be a fight or an argument on the pitch and that is how we can take them down." Premier League - Adebayor increases heat on City
    • 13:10 City boss Roberto Mancini: "I don't think we played very well [against Wigan] because we were so tired. Only in the last 20-25 minutes we played better. Probably yes [there was a hangover from the FA Cup semi win over Chelsea] - only three days. For this reason we played with four, five new players. We spent a lot of energy against Chelsea was difficult."
    • 13:05 For fans of pretending there's still some value in the title race, a win today moves Manchester City to within 10 points of Manchester United with five games remaining. If City lose, then United will win the title with a victory against Aston Villa tomorrow night. As for Spurs, they start the day three points behind Chelsea and five behind Arsenal. Though Arsenal have played two games more. Premier League table
    • 13:00 So Bale is back but Aaron Lennon doesn't make it for Spurs, who have Jermain Defoe on the bench and start former City striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who loves scoring against his former sides. City, meanwhile, make four changes after a 1-0 win over Wigan in midweek, with Sergio Aguero dropping to the bench and Edin Dzeko coming into the attack.
    • 12:55 TEAMS: Tottenham: Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto; Dembele, Parker, Dempsey, Bale, Sigurdsson, Adebayor. Subs: Friedel, Caulker, Naughton, Holtby, Huddlestone, Livermore, Defoe. /// Man City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy, Yaya Toure, Barry, Milner, Tevez, Nasri, Dzeko. Subs: Pantilimon, K Toure, Kolarov, Lescott, Garcia, Sinclair, Aguero.
    • 12:50 Bale has recovered from an ankle injury sustained in a Europa League tie against Basel and will be looking to demonstrate why he is the favourite for the PFA Player of the Year award, having made the six-man shortlist announced on Friday.
    • 12:45 Hello and welcome to our coverage of the Premier League game between Tottenham and Manchester City - which has implications for the title race, or what remains of it, and the battle for the top four.
  • Summary
