    • 90+3' FULL TIME: Angola 0-0 Morocco. Thanks for joining us.

    • 90+1' Mateus wins a throw deep in the Morocco half. Manucho penalized for a challenge on Achchakir who stays down.
    • 90' We have three additional minutes here.
    • 88' Manucho threw himself at the ball and was perhaps put off slightly by Guilherme who also went for it.
    • 87' Great run and cross from Mateus and Manucho heads just wide with the goal at his mercy! That was the chance they wanted but it goes begging.
    • 86' Amrabat concedes another free kick for high feet and back come Angola. Mateus hits a fierce shot that Lamyaghri does well to catch!
    • 85' Will both sides settle for a draw now or will someone roll the dice with the group up for grabs?
    • 83' Chance for Angola! Manucho fires just wide.
    • 82' Bastos concedes a corner under pressure from El Arabi.
    • 81' Angola sub: Geraldo off for Gilberto.
    • 80' Ten minutes to go here and a goal for either side now could be massive in the context in this group
    • 79' Good run and cross from Amrabat but El Arabi can’t quite latch onto it. Good chance.
    • 78' Angola sub: Airosa on for Lunguinha.
    • 77' Belhanda goes into the book for a challenge on Pirolito. Looked a little harsh.
    • 76' Benatia is fouled in the box and another good opportunity goes begging from the free kick.
    • 75' Good turn by Geraldo and he’s fouled by Hermach. Free kick Angola.
    • 74' The game opening up a bit going into the last 15 minutes. Who wants it most?
    • 73' Assaidi not having as much success down the left as in the first half. Bastos has the better of him.
    • 72' Mateus storms forward but is denied by a great challenge from Achchakir covering scross.

    • 70' Morocco sub: El Arabi on for El Hamdaoui.
    • 69' Behlanda had more time than he thought and snatched at it. He could have steadied himself and gone for the far post. Amrabat concedes a free kick for a foul on Geraldo.
    • 68' Belhanda beats two players in the box and makes room for the shot. It flies wide of the left post. Should have made the keeper work. Good chance.
    • 67' The corner finds Manucho at the far post but he heads is wide of the far post. Tough chance.
    • 66' Cross from Lunguinha finds Geraldo and his shot deflects over the bar for a corner.
    • 65' As in the World Cup, the vuvuzealas are out in force again. The crowd getting restless with back-to-back draws so far...
    • 64' FOULS: Angola 8-18 Morocco
    • 63' Angola win a corner. Geraldo plays it in but it misses everyone and is out for a Morocco throw.
    • 62' Morocco sub: Belhanda on for Barrada.
    • 61' You feel that perhaps Morocco are missing Chamakh and Tarrabt at the moment. Good cross from Giraldo but Lamyaghri claims.
    • 59' Barrada all over Geraldo but nothing given. He practically had his shirt off!
    • 58' Manucho gives chase and wins a throw deep in the Morocco half.
    • 57' Great turn from Assaidi and he nearly plays in El Ahmadi. One pass away from unlocking Angola.
    • 56' Mateus almost latches onto a through ball but it drifts out for a goal kick. All Angola at the moment.
    • 55' Benatia penalized for a foul on Manucho. Yellow card.
    • 54' Good work from Assaidi and he goes down looking for a free kick. Nothing given.
    • 53' Angola have had much the better of this opening to the second half. Mateus just fails to get his shot away. Great turn and shot from El Hamdaoui but the angle was against him.
    • 52' Good work from Guilherme and his cross just fails to find Manucho. The sub has made a positive impact already.
    • 51' Both teams sense that Group A could be there for the taking with a victory here. Or at least take a strong grip on the group.
    • 50' Frantic start to this half. End to end stuff. Assaidi crosses and Massunguna heads behind for a corner.
    • 49' Well we nearly had our first goal of the tournament and with hindsight the substitute ought to have hit the target with his snap shot.
    • 48' Keeper Lamyaghri makes a real hash of catching Bastos’s cross and drops it to Guilherme who’s shot is just wide of the post with the keeper stranded. So close!
    • 47' Shot from Mateus deflects away for a corner. Broght start for Angola.
    • 46' Must have been an injury to Bile. Angola win the first free kick of the half. Hermach then penalised for a high foot on Manucho.
    • 45' Angola sub: Guilherme for Bile
    • 45' We’re back underway here in Johannesburg. Let’s hope for our first goal of the tournament!
    • HALF TIME: Angola 0-0 Morocco
    • 45' We have one added minute here.
    • 45' Manucho takes the free kick but it’s well over the bar. Disappointing.
    • 44' Bile wins a free kick in an advanced position. A chance before half time for Angola.
    • 43' Another aimless ball from Morocco and it’s all the way back to Lama.
    • 42' This half stuttering towards half time after a promising start. The standard has tailed off a bit.
    • 41' Geraldo fouled but the Angola free kick is wasted and Morocco win it back.
    • 40' A very hopeful long shot from Hermach sails over the bar.
    • 39' POSSESSION: Angola 47%-3% Morocco
    • 38' Mateus goes down theatrically on the edge of the box but isn’t fooling the referee and nothing is given. He didn’t need to do that.
    • 37' El Hamdaoui just fails to keep the ball in play with Morocco threatening. Throw to Angola.
    • 36' FOULS: Angola 3-10 Morocco
    • 35' A little pace has gone out of this game now and Angola are seeing more of the ball. Bille shoots wide.
    • 34' Angola fortunate to still have eleven men and that would have ruined the game.
    • 33' Manucho fouls Hermach and goes into the book. Ooh that’s a bad one and could have been red.
    • 32' Amrabat catches a flailing arm in the face from Massunguna. No intent though and he’s back up.
    • 31' Miguel beats two men but tries to beat one too many and Morocco have it back. A little selfish there.
    • 30' Foul by Achchakir on Mateus. Free kick to Angola.
    • 29' Angola have weathered a bit of a storm and are breaking up the tempo of Morocco’s game. For now.
    • 28' Assaidi on the ball again and wins a throw. The Liverpool winger needs to get a little further up the pitch though.
    • 27' Geraldo plays in the free kick and Hermach heads behind for a corner.
    • 26' Miguel fouled by Achchakir. Free kick to Angola.
    • 25' A tendency for Angola to look for Manucho with long balls and it’s not really working.
    • 24' We still await the first goal of the 2013 tournament but you feel it is coming…
    • 23' Another shot from Amrabat but again defenders block the shot for Angola.
    • 22' El Ahmadi this time finds El Hamdaoui but his shot in the box is blocked with three defenders tight on him.
    • 21' El Ahmadi plays in Amrabat but great covering defending from Bastos clears the danger.
    • 20' Angola only breaking in ones and twos, relying on individuals.
    • 19' Not a great delivery from the free kick and Morocco scramble it clear.
    • 18' The 1976 champions are dominating but Geraldo wins a free kick.
    • 17' Lunguinha gets to the byline but overcooks it and it runs out for a goal kick.
    • 16' Morocco have already forced three corners and are starting to dominate. Actually unlucky not to already be ahead.
    • 15' Another shot from El Ahmadi and it whistles just wide of the post via a deflection. Close again!
    • 14' There is a big gap between the midfield and Manucho for Angola. They need to sort that out.
    • 13' Great run from Assaidi! He cuts inside and beats two defenders before hitting his shot over the bar. Did all the hard work!
    • 12' Space on the left for Assaidi but Angola regroup and it goes all the way back to Lamyaghri.
    • 10' Angola clear their lines through Manucho and they breathe again. Morocco beginning to take a grip.
    • 9' Cracking shot from El Hamdaoui and a good save from Lama to push it over! Corner.
    • 8' A poor touch from Miguel gives away a throw. Amrabat fouled but Barrada’s free kick sails all the way through to keeper Lama.
    • 7' Geraldo nearly sets Manucho through but the ball gets tangled in his feet. Nice idea.
    • 6' Some sustained pressure early on from Morocco. They win a free kick.
    • 5' Morocco corner and Adil can’t quite get his header away.
    • 4' The rain has abated and the slick surface looks excellent for passing football. High hopes for this one. Already a higher tempo than the opening game. Shot from El Ahmadi and a good save from Lama!
    • 3' Some good work from Miguel down the left. He’ll be looking to het Manucho in. Shot from Bille from distance and a good stop from Lamyaghri who saw it late.
    • 2' Both teams look to have set up 4-4-2. A fairly high tempo start here.
    • 1' Referee Badara Diatta from Senegal blows the whistle to get us underway here and after the previous 0-0 let’s hope for some goals tonight!
    • 18.55 Five minutes to kick off. In the last five meetings between the sides, Angola have lost four with one 2-2 draw their only consolation.
    • 18.50 Although Morocco are favourites, Angola cannot be taken lightly following wins over defending champions Zambia, Botswana and Rwanda in the build-up.
    • 18.45 TEAMS: Angola: Lama; Bastos, Massunguna, Lunguinha, Bille; Pirolito, Dede, Miguel, Mateus; Geraldo, Manucho /// Morocco: Lamyaghri; Chakir, Benatia, El Adoua, El Kaoutari; Hermach, El Ahmadi, Barrada; Amrabat, Assaidi, El Hamdaoui.
    • 18.40 Morocco coach Rachid Taoussi surprised many by leaving Marouane Chamakh, Houssine Kharja and Adel Taarabt out of the tournament citing team performance over individual ability. For Angola, ex-Manchester United striker Manucho is the man to watch. He has scored eight times in his previous Cup of Nations appearances.
    • 18.35 Morocco come into the match as favourites to top Group A, especially after the earlier bore draw between hosts South Africa and Cape Verde that finished 0-0.
    • 18.30 Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the second match of the African Cup of Nations as Angola take on Morocco. Kick off 19.00 GMT.

  1. I wasn't impressed with either team. If Morocco doesn't win its next match, they can forget about the silverware. For Angola, they were too wasteful of chances, now way would they stand Ghana, Nigeria or Ivory Coast in next round. :-(
