1) FERDINAND SURPRISES GROOM AT WEDDING - Rio stuns wedding party with sudden video appearance
Rio Ferdinand helped a bride make the other great love of her man’s life part of their wedding day with a fantastic appearance to shock the guests and groom.
The former Red Devil responded to a plea by Clara Maybin and recorded a surprise video message for her to play for Manchester United fanatic Ryan during the speeches.
Rio, who has three kids with wife Rebecca, told the stunned 29-year-old that marriage is a “beautiful experience” – and warned: “Treat her well, otherwise I’ll be able to find you!”
She told the Sunday People she almost “passed out with surprise” when the ace’s agent phoned her following a message she sent to him.
"The agent said although they were sent so much stuff, Rio adored my presentation and was going to organise something," she said. "I was over the moon when I received the video.”

2) WORLD CUP STAR'S VERY COOL DANCING - James Rodriguez does a wonderful John Travolta impression
James Rodriguez can do nothing wrong, it seems. After starring at the World Cup and earning the golden boot, the Colombia hero has been further impressing.
A video has surfaced on social media of the forward dancing Travolta style at a nightclub and his moves are, well, pretty slick.
Rodriguez was apparently on holiday when he was filmed performing the moves with his expected move to Real Madrid to follow shortly. Maybe he'll dance at his unveiling?

3) BLACKPOOL'S RIDICULOUS STARTING LINE-UP - Struggling Blackpool send out absurd starting XI for match
TEAM: Trialist, Waddington, Trialist, Perkins, McMahon (C), Dunne, Zenjov, Trialist, Trialist, Grant, Trialist.

Blackpool have been going through a tough time of late, and that's an understatement.
With eight players on the club's books, no one knew what to expect when they faced Penrith in a friendly.
The recent Premier League outfit did not even manage to send out a recognised goalkeeper as they released a team that was funny even just to read about on a sheet.
Maybe they are on to something though. Blackpool won the game 4-0 with one of the trialists scoring twice.

4) ENGLAND'S CRICKETERS SPOOKED BY GHOSTS - Stars struggle to sleep because of hotel's 'ghosts'
England stars Ben Stokes and Stuart Broad have been struggling to sleep because of the 'ghosts' at Langham Hotel, according to an exclusive report in the Daily Mail.
"A number of players have requested to move rooms, while some wives and girlfriends have refused to stay at the world-renowned Langham Hotel during London Test matches this summer after complaints of mysterious goings-on at night," according to the report.
This is all, presumably, Kevin Pietersen's fault.

5) MAN CITY STARLET SCORES SCREAMER - City youngster nets fantastic goal in Euro U19 clash
Two Marcos Lopes strikes either side of an Andre Silva tap-in represented a fine Group A start for Portgual at the Euro U19 championships.
And Lopes starred with a truly stunning strike to inspire his team to a convincing victory.
It's exciting to see for City fans, who will look forward to seeing the 18-year-old in action someday soon perhaps. Fortunately for Lopes, he's not English, so he should get a game.
