TV pundit Kamara catches ‘street robber’ in Brazil, ‘backfires’

Chris ‘Kammy’ Kamara is a little bit of a joker but he had to put that jovial side to his character to one side in Brazil on Friday.

The former Swindon Town, Brentford and Bradford City player was on hand to chase down and apprehend what he described as a “street robber”.

Kamara chronicled his good deed in a series of tweets posted on his official account, first stating that he had “not lost me pace!!! I just caught this street robber. Done in now though”.

However, the have-a-go-hero had words of caution for his army of Twitter followers:

He tweeted a link to the official guidance from the Home Office, which states:

"Be ready to hand over valuables if you’re threatened; don’t attempt to resist attackers, they may be armed or under the influence of drugs."
