Alfa Romeo 4C has been voted 2013’s "Most Beautiful Car of the Year" in an international online poll organised by Eurosport in partnership with the International Automobile Festival (IAF).
The seven-week competition was contested by cars from eight different vehicle manufacturers, launched to sale in 2013 and with a maximum list price of €55,000 (£45,500).
The award, voted for by the public, was unveiled at the 29th IAF Gala in Paris last night.
More than 100,000 people in 50 different countries voted in the poll after a eight cars were shortlisted: Alfa Romeo 4C , BMW 4 Series , Jeep Grand Cherokee , Lexus IS 300h , Mazda 3, Mercedes -Benz CLA Peugeot 308, Renault Captur.
The Alfa Romeo 4C received more than 40% of the final vote ahead of the BMW 4 Series Coupe, Mercedes -Benz CLA and the Mazda 3, who were the other three finalists.
One of the 100,000 voters will be randomly selected and will win a Fiat worth €30,000, Alfa Romeo will benefit from a poster campaign worth €100,000.
