Overreaction Theatre: Get that woman off my screen!

Anyone who has followed Overreaction Theatre this season knows all too well how effectively Twitter gives fools a global stage to air their idiotic views (and, yes, we're part of that vicious cycle).

This nincompoopery reached its high-water mark on Saturday night when a large chunk of Twitter took angry exception to Gabby Logan presenting Match of the Day.

In one sense you feel sorry for those people so desperately insecure that they are scared of 50 per cent of the human race. But in another, more accurate, sense, you just want to slap them with a wet fish. Preferably a girl fish.

Hats off Preben Walle (@Ohpebbles) for doing Overreaction Theatre's work for it and retweeting the Neanderthals' reaction live. Please give him a follow to say thanks.

HOWARD WEBB, CRAP JOKE MAGNET

England’s foremost ref fails to award Liverpool penalty or send off Chelsea’s Samuel Eto’o. Twitter reacts with crushing predictability.

IF ANELKA SCORES I’LL EAT MY QUENELLE

Here’s a story that got slightly less rib-tickling when Nicolas Anelka decided to pay tribute to the French Jim Davidson, but anyway, here goes.

Le Sulk scored twice, and the unlucky punter duly made his account an Anelka shrine. No evidence that he’s cut his hair off, though.
