Bloody hell so it now looks like it might actually happen! Liverpool are clear favourites to win the title but everybody at Anfield is staying calm and relaxed, isn't that right Stevie?
No we kid, you have to tip your hat to Steven Gerrard for the way he has led Liverpool this season. He truly is the heartbeat of the club but how did he become such a great player, an esteemed leader and inspirational figure?
Which *legend* walked through the Shankly Gates and imparted the necessary wisdom to help move Gerrard on to the next level?
Well that legend has now revealed himself on Twitter...the one, the only, TITI CAMARA!
Glad gerrard is still going strong and happy I taught him a lot whilst at the club
Gerrard too let us not forget, composed himself quickly, and gave his team-mates an inspirational speech soon after the final whistle.
Now Liverpool fans for the rest of the week are going to have a spring in their step and a song in their hearts, but rather than that tune being 'You'll Never Walk Alone' or 'We're Going To Win The League', how about Jerry Lee Lewis and 'Great Balls Of Fire?'
If Liverpool beat City I will set my balls on fire and vine it

It was certainly a nervy day for everybody at Anfield. To such an extent that this chart is probably accurate as opposed to an overreaction.

The might have to rethink that that Liverpool joke they love so much at Man Utd. "Which ship never docks at Liverpool?" - the Championship. — Nikhil Chinapa (@nikhilchinapa) April 13, 2014

It was all a bit too much for the *haters* to take.
If Liverpool win the league after playing so disgustingly all season, cheating at every possible opportunity I will actually feel sick — James (@JBrianR91) April 13, 2014
This Liverpool "love-in" from the media, the neutrals, from the pundits, it's absolutely nauseating. Can't hack it anymore.

Meanwhile, over at Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final between Hull City and Sheffield United, it really was a case of men against boys.

So it is now over to you Arsenal, and in case you are wondering, yes, we have been counting.
Arsenal are 1 victory away of ending a trophy drought that will be 3283 days by the time they meet Hull or Sheffield United in FA Cup final. — Bleacher Report UK (@br_uk) April 12, 2014
More nonsense next week.
