Before the World Cup Marouane Fellaini said that if Belgium won the World Cup he would cut off his famous afro hair.
Well the Belgians went out after a rather limp performance against Argentina in the quarter-finals BUT a picture of Fellaini that has gone viral suggests that he may have gone ahead and done it anyway.

In the past, Fellaini said that if a side he played for had claimed the Champions League title then he would have cut it all off.
Unfortunately, none of the sides he has represented - Standard Liege, Everton or Manchester United - have managed that feat.
And with United not even in Europe next season, it appears he may have finally said 'screw it' and got it cut with the help of Belgian brand JYB Cosmetics.
That is, until it was suggested that he could have simply had his famous afro braided. Well, no one appears to be entirely sure.
Some cynics have said that it could all be a PR stunt given that Fellaini once fooled everyone before back in 2009 when he turned his hair into cornrows.
Frankly, no one can be certain - but either way his new look is pretty striking in comparison to his normal 'fro.
