England squads, eh?
They're never going to please anyone, and yet many of them manage to find a way to dissatisfy as many fans as possible.
Roy Hodgson's latest selections for the upcoming friendly against Denmark had all the usual accusations of in-form players being overlooked in favour of familiar names.
And while, indeed, it does baffle how Jermain Defoe managed to hang onto his spot despite a remarkable lack of Premier League game time in 2013 and impending move to Canada, there's nothing quite as embarrassing for those who missed out than to have their dear old mums chime in on the matter:
