How does a week at the sensational mansion and purpose-built golf course formerly owned by world number one Rory McIlroy sound? Yep, we thought you'd say that.

It could hardly be better, could it - spending down time at the multi-million pound pad with its own private lake, floodlit tennis court, custom-built golf course and private home cinema?

Well, the only slight snag to Northern Ireland's most unique tourist attraction is that it does not come cheaply. No, not cheaply at all.

Exclusive access for a week to the now famous Robinhall House will set you back £12,500.

McIlroy lived in the mansion for four years, along with tennis superstar and former girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki for long periods, until last year.

Robinhall House's major attractions:

  • Exclusive access to Rory’s bespoke designed nine-hole course
  • Lessons from resident professional golfer Robin Daly
  • Helicopter transfers and chauffeur service
  • A private fly-fishing lake stocked with 1,200 brown and dollaghan trout
  • Outdoor hot tub with Champagne on tap
  • Cinema room with seating for 18, equipped with surround sound, Blu-ray, & video games
  • Resident chef cooking with best local produce
  • Floodlit tennis court

Astonishingly, it is set to rival the Giant's Causeway for US and European tourists' interest, according to the Belfast Telegraph.

Golf-crazy fans and corporate big-spenders are reportedly flooding current owner, property developer Gary McCausland, with offers for staying at the property.

Equally, it has been reported that major movie stars and celebrities have already been to stay at the house.

Tiger Woods is understood to be a big fan of the custom-made nine holes, specifically designed to replicate every shot required to win each of golf's four Majors.

McCausland told the Belfast Telegraph: "When I bought Robinhall House, it was originally as a private retreat for myself and my family, but I've literally had hundreds of enquiries from all over the world from people wanting to come and use the facility.

"So, on the back of this huge demand, I've decided to make it exclusively available.

"By allowing people to come here and play, it will generate income that I can use to keep the course and practice areas to the world class standards that Rory originally created."

Robin Daly, son of four-time Ryder Cup player Fred Daly, will be the resident golf pro at the house and said: "This is probably the best facility that I have ever come across. You will not see better than this."
