We have the quality to beat Bayern

The whole of Europe is convinced that Arsenal have little or no chance of beating Bayern Munich over two legs in the Champions League last-16.

But Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is not so gloomy in his outlook: speaking exclusively to Eurosport's Eurogoals programme, he admitted that the German giants are favourites, but insists that his beleaguered side have the firepower to make the quarter-finals.

And what is more, the Arsenal manager believes that a victory could inspire his men to go on and win the entire competition.

Wenger also gives his views on the other Champions League clashes this week, and was in similarly contrary mood when he suggested that Barcelona's packed fixture schedule could mean they end up too tired to get past AC Milan.
