Date Sun, Oct 5, 13:01Jo Pavey has to settle for third place in one of the closest finishes of the BUPA Great North Run. Pavey fought a magnificent battle over the final mile with Gete Wami and Magdalene Mukunzi before succumbing to their finishing pace. Wami won by a second in 1:08:51, ahead of Mukunzi.
