  1. 4-6 - CILIC HAS DONE IT!! The former Toronto Masters champion Roddick crashes out. What an upset!!

  2. 2-4 - Both players hold, and Cilic is in a great position to take this match. The question is, will he hold his nerve?

  3. 1-3 - After Cilic's early break he leads 3-1 in the final set, with Roddick to serve.

  4. 0-1 - CILIC BREAKS!! Just when it seemed Roddick had found his feet in this match, the Croatian breaks serve to take back the initiative.

  5. 6-4 - And just like that, Roddick has turned this match on its head!! The American pulls things level at one set all with a break and you'd have to fancy him to win this now.

  6. 4-4 - BINGO!! BONANZA!! Roddick breaks to keep his hopes alive.

  7. 3-4 - Another hold, and this next game is CRUCIAL. Roddick seriously needs a break.

  8. 2-4 - Another chance to break goes begging and time is running out for Roddick now.

  9. 2-3 - Roddick holds, and he's clinging in there. Cilic has played superbly so far, but can he close out this match.

  10. 1-3 - Cilic holds serve and this is looking ominous for Roddick now.

  11. 1-2 - Roddick batters his way to a hold. That's more like it!

  12. 0-2 - Roddick is not a happy boy. Cilic holds and the match is slipping away from the American. Something needs to change sooner rather than later.

  13. 0-1 - RODDICK IS MAD!!! He smashes his racket on the ground will real venom and gets a warning for his troubles. Now, now Andy!!

  14. 0-1 - Not the start to the second set Roddick will have wanted. Cilic takes the fight to him, and breaks to go ahead.

  15. 4-6 - Well well!! Cilic takes the opening set 6-4 and we could have an upset on the cards here. The Croatian completely deserves his lead, he's been the better player so far and Roddick just cannot find his game.

  16. 4-5 - Roddick holds, and Cilic will SERVE FOR THE FIRST SET.

  17. 3-5 - Great service game from Cilic, who's taken a lead from Roddick here and is seriously getting some heat with his serves.

  18. 3-4 - WHAT A SHOT FROM CILIC!!! Roddick set him up, and he cracked a lovely cross-court backhand to seal a break!!!

  19. 3-3 - Cilic holds serve confidently and we could be in for a cracker here. He's certainly not going to roll over on this evidence.

  20. 3-2 - It's HOT HOT HOT in Toronto, and the Roddick serve is starting to click. He blasts his way into a 3-2 lead.

  21. 2-2 - A couple of nice backhands from Roddick give him the chance to break back, and he takes it with glee. All square.

  22. 1-2 - Sloppy game from Roddick, which culminate in a double fault to give Cilic the first break of the match.

  23. 1-1 - Good hold from Cilic, who is so tall he appears to need just a couple of steps to move from one side of the court to the other.

  24. 1-0 - Nice positive start from Cilic, who takes on the Roddick serve a couple of times. Good early signs, but Roddick's power see him safely home.

  25. 0-0 - American Roddick to serve first, under bright sunshine in Canada.
