A small rugby nation but just imagine how good they could be if the sport takes off in Georgia - they appear naturally built for the game and have a history of conflict that makes them relish the confrontation. Well done the minnows!

    • 79' Last chance for the Pumas and wing Aramburu takes a lovely pop pass to go over and secure the vital bonus point. 31-3. They left it late but well played by the Pumas.

Machkhaneli gathers and makes excellent ground before winning penalty for not rolling away. Georgia kick for touch and are mid-way between half-way and the Pumas try line.

    • 62' Hernandez tries to burst through and is just stopped. Georgia win penalty for holding on, take a quick tap and kick up field. Pumas try to break from defence but again Machkhaneli puts in a big hit. Great tackle on Durand by the winger!
    • 60' Great hands from the Pumas backs almost puts them clear. Lovely work from Hernanzdez and Contepomi! Georgia concede penalty and Pumas kick for the corner as we reach the hour mark.
    • 57' Pumas looking a bit more composed now, so Kvirikashvili puts a decent grubber through into touch on the Argentina 22m line. Pumas take the ball and drive through the Georgia defence.

    • 41' Let's see if the Pumas are going to change their approach as Hernandez gets the second half underway. Remember Ireland scored four tries against Namibia to earn a bonus point and the Pumas will want the same. Georgia make a mess of clearing and Pumas get line-out 5m from their line.
    • 39' One last play for Argentina before half time and the ball is moved superbly to Aramburu on the right wing, but again Georgia cover is good and the wing is bundled into touch. Georgia win line-out and clear the ball to touch as the ref blows for half-time. Terrific first half from Georgia and their coach Cheishvili Malkhaz will be delighted with their performance. Can they keep it going in the second half?
