Just about deserved as they were the smarter of the two. The only downside is the worrying injury to Cipriani. Thanks for joining us.

    • 47' Bath chosing a more direct route in this half as they try to make holes in Wasps defence. Crocket again makes ground but Bath penalised for holding on and Cipriani kicks Wasps back into visitors' half.

    • 34' Wasps keep it tight and make some hard yards in their forwards with Haskell and Dallaglio standing out. Lewsey gathers a long kick and links well with Voyce. Big tackle by Rees on Higgins earns Wasps the put in for a scrum in Bath 22.

    • 30' Elusive run by Sackey as Wasps look to bounce back immediately. Dallaglio makes yards up the middle as Wasps continue to attack. Haskell makes a burst, the ball comes back and Flutey delays his pass beautifully and Waters crashes over. 7-5. Lovely try.

    • 27' Dangerous play by Wasps as they look to spread the ball wide in the dead ball area. Lewsey knocks on and Crocket first to touch down. Suicide from the Londoners and Bath lead 5-0.
    • 26' Lovely kick by James moves Bath to within a metre of the Wasps try line. Big chance here fopr the visitors, but Wasps throw long to Dallaglio and the legend secures the ball for the hosts.
    • 25' Barkley wriggles his way out of several tackles and brings the play into Wasps half. Strong play by the England man.
    • 24' Nice offload Haskell to Flutey as Wasps attack up the middle. Ball is spread wide to Sackey in space but final pass is forward.
    • 22' Quick hands from Bath gets the ball the Bannahan but Wasps gang tackle the wing into touch.
    • 20' Bath keep ball alive well but Wasps defence is good and James forced to chip the ball into touch.
    • 18' Bath win their throw but good Wasps defence prevents them making any ground. Borthwick drives but is isolated and pinged for holding on. Respite for Wasps as they kick for touch.

    • 13' Another penalty for Bath from a scrum, this time Tim Payne penalised. This time Barkley ordered to kick for the corner. Bath win theior throw but Wasps manage to drop the maul and then win penalty for playing on the ground. Another missed chance for Bath!
    • 11' Both teams' lineouts are not firing as efficiently as they'd like and the game is a little loose as a result. James makes some room on the left and feeds giant wing Banahan, but Sackey makes the tackle and ends the attack.
    • 8' Lewsey takes high ball and is caught in possession. But the Wasps support is good and they retain possession. But Lewsey then kicks the ball dead over the dead ball line and it's scrum back just outsise Wasps 22.
    • 7' Wasps force turnover and set up their first attack of the game.
    • 5' Lovely break by Maddock and Bath continue their attack. Sackey comes up quickly and intercepts but ref signals the England man was offside. Another chance for Barkley and again he pulls it, from pretty much in front this time. Unbelievable!
    • 4' Barkley has nailed his last 15 kicks but pulls this one badly! Missed chance as Reddan takes a quick 22.
    • 2' Ward has required a bit of attention but an early Wasps scrum leads to a penalty for Bath and the first chance for points.
    • 1' The teams are out on the pitch and it's an electric atmosphere at Adams Park as Barkley gets the game started for the visitors.
    • - Bath have played some of the most effective and attractive rugby in the Premiership this season, with coach Steve Meehan developing an excellent off-loading game. However, an away team has yet to win the play-offs and the West Country club will have their hands full against a Wasps side used to winning silverware. A victory is not beyond Bath, but they will need to be at their very best if they are to bring Dallaglio's career to an end today.
    • - There is mixed news for Bath on the injury front. Their key prop Matt Stevens has recovered from the knock suffered in the defeat at Gloucester, but his England team-mate and hooker Lee Mears has failed to make it in time due to a shoulder injury. Peter Dixon starts at hooker while prop David Barnes has also been recalled to the side.
    • - Wasps are boosted by the fitness of try-machine Paul Sackey but are without hooker Rafael Ibanez, who suffered a back spasm this morning. Joe Ward starts at number two. Lawrence Dallaglio skippers the side on what could be his final first-class game if the London club fails to reach the final.
    • - Welcome to Eurosport's coverage of the first of the day's two Guinness Premiership play-offs, featuring Wasps v Bath. Wasps made a typically late challenge and secured second spot in the table thanks to a victory over Leeds in their final match of the regular season. Bath, however, went down at Leeds and saw themselves drop back to third.
