Before arriving in Germany, the Pole had yet to make the podium this season but he put that right on Saturday when he took silver in the large hill individual event.
And he switched silver for gold on Sunday in the weekend's second large hill competition with a total score 300.7 points for his eighth World Cup win.
Switzerland's Simon Ammann was second, making him the seventh man to make 70 individual World Cup podiums.
Japan's Noriaki Kasai completed the medal rostrum, and with it entered the record books as the second oldest man, at 41 years and 192 days, to make an individual World Cup podium.
Current overall World Cup leader Gregor Schlierenzauer finished joint-eighth alongside Severin Freund, who is second in the standings.
