Freund, along with Richard Freitag, Michael Neumayer and Andreas Wellinger, took Germany to victory in the first team event of the season in Kuusamo in Finland back in November. And, with the World Cup returning to Finnish mountains in Lahti, Germany won again with Andreas Wank the only change from the quartet as he came in for Wellinger. Germany scored 1079.5 points from their eight jumps as Norway finished second with 1038.8 while Poland were narrowly behind in third with 1036.2. The individual event now follows on Sunday and Freund said: "The whole team likes this hill very much and we know we can jump very well in Lahti. "We already won in Kuusamo this winter and we like the Finnish hills very much because you really have take off at the table here and we can do that."
