Rolando Jorge Pires da Fonseca arrived in Italy this week and has completed his transfer to Inter after passing a medical in Milan.
He has flown back out to Portugal to sort out some red tape issues, but this afternoon Inter released a statement confirming the move.
The 27-year-old “is ready to join the squad after their American tour. Inter and the fans give him a warm welcome.”
Rolando spent last season on loan at Napoli under Coach Walter Mazzarri’s orders, but made only seven Serie A appearances and two in the Europa League.
It is believed Inter have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
