Cagliari’s Belgian midfielder has been paired with a move to any one of a number of clubs this January including the Rossoneri.
“Currently our squad is at 30 - we need to thin that out by two or three players, then we will see if a midfielder can arrive,” responded Galliani to reporters.
The Vice-President also commented on Keisuke Honda’s first appearances at Milan’s training facilities over the weekend.
“Honda has visited the medical staff and already has the ability to start training. I have had very good information from our scouts, whilst [Japan Coach Alberto] Zaccheroni has spoken of him very highly.
“I know that he wanted to train since [Saturday], but we have stopped him because in Italy there are very strict conditions on physical fitness. Now he can work out because it is suitable.”
