German-born Ghana international Boateng made headlines in January when he left the field of play during a winter break friendly match against lower league side Pro Patria.
Boateng was protesting racial abuse from the stands during that match, with his team-mates following suit.
And with racism high on the agenda for FIFA – particularly in Southern and Eastern Europe – Blatter has arranged to speak with the former Tottenham playmaker.
“The player has been invited to exchange his views on the best manner to combat racism,” FIFA said in a statement.
“The visit of Boateng comes just after the creation of an anti-discrimination taskforce, announced by (Blatter) earlier in Match, which will convene during the international week in Geneva.”
While Boateng was praised for his actions, FIFA have suggested that stronger punishments are preferred to players leaving the pitch.
