Premier League - Team of Midweek: Magic Marouane

Four Everton players made our Team of the Week, but who joined Marouane Fellaini?

    GK: Tim Howard (Everton)

The American made four good saves as Everton secured a fine 2-1 win away at Newcastle.

    RB: Guy Demel (West Ham)

Offered an almost constant threat down the right but also was solid in defence as West Ham beat Norwich 2-1.

    CB: Maya Yoshida (Southampton)

The entire Southampton back four were in expert form in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal but Yoshida was the pick of the bunch as he put in a determined performance.

    CB: Sylvain Distin (Everton)

A resolute performance at the back from the Frenchman, despite an early error that allowed Papiss Cisse to score for Newcastle.

    LB: Leighton Baines (Everton)

A stunning free-kick capped a master class in attacking full-back play from the England international.

    MR: Aaron Lennon (Tottenham)

The pacy winger caused havoc throughout and gave Reading left-back Ian Harte an afternoon to forget.

    MC: Gylfi Sigurdsson (Tottenham)

The Iceland international grabbed an assist for Tottenham's equaliser in a 3-1 home win over his former club Reading.

    MC: Marouane Fellaini (Everton)

On his return from a three-game ban the Belgian was a constant threat and won the free-kick from which Baines equalised.

    ML: Adel Taarabt (QPR)

Worked his socks off alone up front - though he slots into midfield in our team - and his lay-off for Shaun Wright-Phillips's winner was Pele-esque.

    ST: Javier Hernandez (Manchester United)

Two predatory finishes and two disallowed goals as he menaced Wigan throughout.

    ST: Luis Suarez (Liverpool)

Scored two and set up the other with yet another fine performance in a 3-0 win over Sunderland.
