Suarez struck a brilliant first half hat-trick including a 42-yard screamer and added to hit tally in the second half before turning provider for Rahim Sterling as Liverpool struck five past Norwich for the third game in succession.
Norwich began brightly but found themselves behind to a goal of the season contender as Suarez latched onto Martin Skrtel’s flick on to volley the ball from fully 42 yards and into John Ruddy’s top corner. It was truly an unforgettable strike that will live long in the memory and be played over and over again.
Great technique was the key to the Uruguayan’s second as he swivelled to volley in Philippe Coutinho’s corner and five minutes later Suarez completed his third hat-trick against Norwich with another stunner, flicking the ball past Leroy Fer before lashing past the hapless Ruddy from 20 yards.
Suarez’s third marked his 50th Premier League goal as he became the first player ever in the top flight to secure three hat-tricks against the same club.
Liverpool’s victory keeps them fourth above Everton on goal difference.
