The Newmarket driver will race in the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration and St Mary’s Trophy. Huff normally battles against the world’s best touring car drivers whereas on this occasion he will take on some of the world’s finest historic racers.
The Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration is the jewel in the crown of the Goodwood event featuring iconic GT cars such as the Ferrari 250 GTO, Aston Martin DB4GT and Jaguar E-types.
Huff will join Ecurie Ecosse driver and Goodwood Circuit lap-record holder Andrew Smith for the one-hour race where the pair will race a Corvette Stingray around the 2.37 mile West Sussex track.
Huff will contest the St Mary’s Trophy in an Austin A40 alongside Aston Martin specialist and gentleman racer Desmond Smail. Huff will be in the hot seat for Saturday’s celebrity driver race before Smail takes over driving duties on Sunday.
“I’m very excited to be taking part in the Goodwood Revival,” said Huff. “With such an exciting range of vintage racing machines both on track and display, the event is a spectacle not to be missed by any racing fan.”
The 2011 WTCC runner-up will next get behind the wheel of his Chevrolet Cruze for the series’ inaugural visit to the USA at Sonoma Raceway. Rounds 17 and 18 of the WTCC championship will take place on 21-23 September.
